Under the plate, there is some sort of marking that looks like the mathematical pi symbol, but I am unsure if it is truly a maker's mark. So, I am calling it unsigned. The vase seen here is part of a particularly rare series that dates to 1942 only. The body of the vase features a cobalt blue base with an applied opal white combed, or pulled feather, motif. It has a beautiful crystal sphere connector which sits atop a large cobalt blue disc base.
