This very large bowl executed in aubergine colored glass internally decorated with an abundance of gold leaf is post-war opulence at its finest. Archimede Seguso was one of the most talented glassblowers of the twentieth century, and this piece lives up to his high standard of craftsmanship and talent. The side shows a small, round Murano export label. This bowl weighs over 14 pounds.
Excellent condition.
