Archimede Seguso
A fasce bowl internally decorated
Vetreria Archimede Seguso
Italy, ca. 1951
Red striped glass bowl with gold leaf
11" d, 3 5/8" h (28, 9cm)
This striking bowl is part of the very rare a fasce series blown by Archimede Seguso in 1951. Featuring wide red stripes and a copious amount of gold leaf, this bowl presents in large scale the elegant Mid-Century design aesthetic for which Archimede Seguso was known. Over the years, only a handful of examples from this series have surfaced, making this a wonderful opportunity.
Excellent condition.
