USA, ca. 1931 Heatherbloom purple glass vase with flared rim 8 3/4" h (22.5 cm)
The Cambridge Glass Company was known for their quality and variety of production, and they produced some of the most interesting American glass prior to the Second World War. This pillow vase, as it is known to collectors, was executed in Heatherboom purple glass which was only produced from late 1931 into 1935. The vase retains its original factory ground and polished rim. This is truly a beautiful and rare example.
Excellent condition, with only a few traces of use. It has a clean interior.
