The Half Filigree, or a canné, decor was made immensely popular by Dino Martens in the post-war period while designing for Verteria Aureliano Toso. Martens designed thousands of models utilizing this decor type, oftentimes using colored or aventuine canes that were twisted or zig-zagged. This vase is in a lovely cone shape and features white, teal, and aventurine canes, as well as an applied base featuring gold leaf.
Excellent condition. One extremely tiny flea bite to the base edge.
