Silver with possible Nephrite
Circa 1920
Size 4
Face measures 5/8" by 1/2" (including the raindrops)
Coin or higher in silver content.
This classically styled Navajo ring features what I believe to be a Nephrite cabochon flanked by four flattened raindrops. It is my estimation that the Nephrite stone was imported by a trader and then ended up in this beautiful ring. There are trader codes on the underside of the ring that consist of the letters JB in one orientation and GM in the other separated by two parallel lines cut down the center by a perpendicular. This ring pairs an iconic look with dainty sophistication.
