Silver and green Turquoise
Circa 1910, possibly a bit earlier
Size 5.5 (slightly out of round)
Face measures 3/4" by 5/8"
Unsigned, as is common with these old pieces.
Coin or higher in silver content.
This early Navajo silver and turquoise ring is truly a standout in design. The silver plate shows a chiseled design radiating from the old-style bezel set green Turquoise stone. On either side is a piece of twisted wire that shows good, honest wear. The three-part split shank also shows nice wear and, as mentioned above, is slightly out of round. The face presents with a dark black patina that makes the stone really pop.
