This early Navajo ring presents with a very large and beautiful elongated oval Turquoise stone flanked by stamped crescents on either side. The stamped motif is of the early variety. The ring has a three-part split shank that is quite thick and shows extensive filing marks, most notably on the interior. These are hallmarks of early Navajo rings. The surface shows a lovely, dark patina. The stone itself shows areas of both green and blue, and has wonderful matrix. This is a remarkable ring and would be at home in any Historic Period Navajo jewelry collection.
