Seguso Vetri d'Arte Italy, 1937 Gray and white pulegoso duck on shallow bowl 5 1/2" d, 4 1/4" h (14, 11cm)
Pulegoso glass was immensely popular on Murano during the thirties, and its translucent plasticity translated very well to the production of animals and figurines. This wonderful duck figurine is produced with both gray and clear (white) pulegoso glass. It is signed on the underside with the two-line <MADE IN ITALY> acid stamp.
Excellent condition.
