Seguso Vetri d'Arte Italy, ca. 1958 Sommerso glass vase in verde-giallo with ribbed surface 8 1/2" h (21.5 cm)
Flavio Poli was one of the most distinguished Artistic Directors of any Murano glass factory during the twentieth century, and no individual is connected with the sommerso glass technique more than he. This vase exhibits the color combination of verde-giallo and had deep surface ribbing applied.
Very good condition. Very light mineral build-up at the bottom and two very small flakes off the bottom edge, only viewable under close examination, measuring around 1/16" long.
