Seguso Vetri d'Arte Italy, ca. 1968 Vase with bulbous base and flared rim 6 1/2" h (16.5 cm)
Following the departure of Flavio Poli from Seguso Vetri d'Arte in March of 1963, Mario Pinzoni took the role of Artistic Director for the glassworks. His designs were dominated by the sommerso glass technique, which remained extremely popular with the buying public. This beautiful sommerso vase was executed in the color combination of Giallo-Acquamarina, a seldom-seen color pairing.
Excellent condition.
