Zecchin Martinuzzi Vetri Artistici e Mosaici
Italy, ca. 1932
Yellow cased glass vase with mauve colored details
8" h (20.5cm)
Zecchin-Martinuzzi, formed in 1932 by Napoleone Martinuzzi and Francesco Zecchin after leaving VSM Venini & C., was known for their cased glass production and Novecento design style. Early production was done in-house, but it soon was contracted out to ASV Barovier, Seguso, & Ferro. This cased glass flask vase features a lattimo core with a bright yellow exterior. It has applied cased details executed in mauve colored glass, including the morisa collar and knot connection between the body and foot.
Excellent condition. An extremely tiny flea bite to the inner rim.
