Silver and Turquoise Circa 1940 Size 8.5 Face measures 1 1/4" by 1" Unsigned, as is common with these early pieces. Coin or higher in silver content.
This Navajo silver ring features a gorgeous bezel set turquoise stone that shows a lovely brown and yellow matrix with areas of waterweb. The face design presents with a very fine frame of twisted wire encircled with large wire loops. The three-part split shank has three silver spheres, or raindrops, on either side where the shank meets the underside of the ring. This hefty piece was made on a true craftsman's bench and was not a mass-produced tourist trade piece.
