Silver and Turquoise Circa 1940, though possibly a bit earlier Size 5.25 Face measures 5/8” by 1/2" Unsigned, as is common with these old pieces. Coin or higher in silver content.
For me, this is a very classic and elegant ring that encompasses much of what I look for in early Navajo ring design. The oval Turquoise cabochon shows a beautiful light blue color with light brown matrix, and it is bezel set atop a rectangular silver plate. On either side is a segment of twisted wire. Its simplicity of design allows you to enjoy each element. The three-part split shank leads to a very thick and robust band.
