Venini & C. Italy, 1934 Cased pulegoso glass with bullicante and gold leaf inclusions 4 3/8” corner to corner, 2 1/8” h (11, 5.5 cm)
This wonderful bowl is part of the Sommerso a Bollicine series designed in 1934 and is executed with multiple layers of glass types including green pulegoso glass, bullicante (controlled bubbles), and finally a layer of clear glass with gold leaf inclusions. The bowl is signed with the Venini four-line acid stamp <Venini Murano MADE IN ITALY>.
Excellent condition.
