This very even and precise style of the sommerso glass technique was immensely popular during the Mid-Century time period. Many companies produced this type of glass, but very few did it well. Vetreria Gino Cenedese falls into the latter category. They utilized very high-quality colors and paired them with a supremely fine execution of interesting forms. This wide fan-shaped vase is executed in yellow and blue glass which combines to give off a neat acid-green color. The form is seldom seen.
