The Tiffin Glass Company produced some of the finest post-war art glass in the United States. They employed Scandinavian glass artists, and their influence can be seen in various series. Tiffin also used fine quality materials and optical grade silica providing for very saturated colors and extremely clear crystal. This vase, produced in Pine Green, is extremely rare and is the only example in this color that has surfaced. The color Pine Green was produced for a very short time in the early fifties, making it one of the rarest Tiffin colors to find.
Excellent condition. Very minor rubs to the exterior only visible under close inspection.
