The Tiffin Glass Company produced some of the finest post-war art glass in the United States. They employed Scandinavian glass artists, and their influence can be seen in various series. Tiffin also used fine quality materials and optical grade silica providing for very saturated colors and extremely clear crystal. The color Cobalt Blue is arguably the rarest color produced by the Tiffin Glass Company for their Modern art glass series. The only other example of this model in Cobalt Blue is in the Tiffin Glass Museum in Tiffin, Ohio.
