Italy, ca. 1934 Soffiato vase with silver foil inclusions 11 5/8" h (29.5 cm)
Vetreria Fratelli Toso produced some of the most exceptional pieces in the lead up to the Second World War. From that period, this Argento vase has a wonderful Novecento style to it, with its simple lines and lovely decor. The underside retains its original retailer's label, which states "FB & Co. GENUINE VENETIAN GLASS ITALY".
Very good condition. A small chip to the inside of the foot measuring about 1/8". Only noticeable when held at certain angles.
