Italy, ca. 1933 Red and white reticello bowl atop a balloton foot with gold leaf 11 1/2" d, 3 1/2" h (29, 9cm)
During the early thirties, Fratelli Toso produced and exhibited various models utilizing the beautiful reticello filigrana decor. This particular example is from that period and features red and white crisscrossing canes within the shallow bowl, which sits atop a balloton foot internally decorated with gold leaf.
Excellent condition. Very minor scratches to the center of the bowl.
