Italy, ca. 1915 Red cased glass vase with applied details 6 1/2" h (16.5 cm)
Fratelli Toso was known for its doblé, or incamiciato, glass production in the teens and twenties. They produced various colors and models, often with applied details. This vase was executed in lattimo glass cased in transparent red glass. It features an applied black rim and black band just below the rim. It is signed on the bottom with a round <MADE IN ITALY> acid stamp.
Excellent condition.
